HALF MOON CREEK - Completely off the grid, located on a peaceful and secluded 5 acres with walnut, chestnut, hazelnut, ornamental and native trees, surrounded by natural forest with Growlers creek running through the property, yet only 7km from Bright.

Both the house and cottage are designed to be eco –friendly, with a Northerly aspect and built to be warm in winter and cool in summer.

 

HALF MOON CREEK CREATIONS -  Offers you hand crafted creations & furniture for your home that have been made at Half moon creek in Wandiligong of  the North East Victorian High Country from locally sourced materials that have been reclaimed and from timber that has been milled with Half moon creeks saw mill.

 

Half moon creek is completly off the grid and is powered by renewable energy with solar and a water turbine system, so the creations and furniture for your home have been created in a sustainable, eco friendly, low environmental impact way.

 

WATER - From Growlers creek East branch which is created from many springs and minor streams that come from Mt Ebernezer.  There is no one else on this creek so the water is clean and pure natural spring water.

 

POWER - Water turbine hydro power system and solar panels to create all of the electricity for the property.

 

FOOD - We have a big vegetable garden here and we enjoy making venison salamis in winter . We also have our own trout that our children love to catch and eat .
